Welcome to Inklings Paperie! Thanks for joining our Affiliate program. We are using an app called UpPromote for this fundraiser. You may notice we use the terms “fundraiser” and “affiliate program” interchangeably. Essentially, by referring friends and family to purchase something from our small business, we are giving 20% back towards your fundraising efforts.
The following terms and conditions apply to individuals who are accessing or using the Program both as a merchant (“we” or “merchant”) and an affiliate (“you” or “affiliate”) who refers customers to use a product or service from the merchant.
By participating in the Program, Affiliate agrees to use the Program in the manner specified in, and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or participate in the Program in any manner.
1. Approve or Reject of the Registration
We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program Registration in our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Registration.
2. Commissions and Payment
Refer any customer to make a purchase on our website, and you will earn a commission amount which is calculated based on the Commission structure. Commission amount is calculated based on the total order value excluding extra fees (tax, shipping costs, etc.) Use of the Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy, which gives Inklings the right to review each and every referral order to ensure that the transaction was fully completed. Transactions that result in chargebacks or refunds will not be paid out. At the end of the fundraising period, your total earnings will be calculated and paid out in the form of a credit towards your fundraiser.
3. Marketing tools
We may share promotion media such as photos, graphics or banners from specific collections with you in the Marketing Tools tab. As an Affiliate, you may download this media or get the HTML embed code in order to share and promote your unique link.
5. Cookies
Your affiliate link relies on cookies to track purchases that have been made through clicking on your link. If a person does not allow cookies or clears their cookies, your affiliate link will not work and their purchase cannot be credited to your affiliate link. “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier.
Cookies are created when a user's browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser which then creates a text file. Every time the user goes back to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server.

Because cookies allow you to take advantage of some of Affiliate marketing system’s essential features, we recommend that you leave them turned on.
The tracking day will start from the time a customer clicks on the affiliate’s link during the promotion or fundraiser period. Within the fundraiser period, every order made by this customer on the Inklings website will automatically result in commissions to the affiliate (There’s no need for the customer to click on the affiliate link then).
6. Removal from Referral Program
If an affiliate wishes to be removed from the affiliate program, they may do so at any time by contacting hello@inklingspaperie.com.
